SPAR is a part of the global retail chain originating from Holland. SPAR international has given the Master Franchise of the SPAR brand to Artee Group for its operations in Nigeria. Unlike across many countries where SPAR operates on sub-franchise model to independent retailers, in Nigeria, SPAR operates their own stores..

Today, SPAR is operating 9 stores across Lagos, Abuja & Port Harcourt aggregating over 20,000 m2 of retail space, thus making it the largest chain of hypermarket stores in Nigeria. Presently, SPAR stores are located in Victoria Island, Lekki, Maryland Ikeja, MMA2 Terminal Campus, Ilupeju, Abuja and Port Harcourt.

The latest SPAR store was launched in Ilupeju Mall, Town Planning Way, Ilupeju. SPAR store in Ilupeju was conceived and designed to cater to employees working in and around Ilupeju and its environs and the residential areas.

SPAR as a hypermarket brand, takes cognizance of the various kinds of shopping missions and adapts its products and services in respect of Choice, Quality, Service and Value to translate the entire shopping experience in to a World Class One.

Artee Group is working on an aggressive roll out plan of SPAR stores across Nigeria. By the end of 2016, SPAR will be a 6 city operator with over 29,000 m2 of retail space from 12 stores. Apart from strengthening the presence in the existing cities of Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, SPAR stores will also penetrate new geographies like Calabar, Abia, Enugu, Asaba to name a few.

Artee Group’s belief in innovation in the retail space was manifested with the launch of the first retail co-branded credit card under the Park n Shop Diamond Bank Credit Card, followed by the Plastic Gift Card.
